I'm thinking maybe we should get another independent church-affiliated football power, that has seen better days but still has a nationwide following, on our schedule, especially on the West coast since we recruit heavily from there: BYU

Good call. Make it one of their home games, and we get a chance to beat them around on national TV.

Not as good as playing in Ford.

I'm not interested in driving out to Arlington to give Jerry $75 to park and pay $150+ for a ticket when I've got a nice setup close to home on the Blvd and season tickets at Ford.

When the frogs played there last year, it was funny to see them all claim how great it was but then complain about the cost.

Obviously, you play wherever you have to in order to get the game.

JMHO

Fine. Play 'em in the Cotton Bowl old-school style, or maybe somewhere else. There are other options. But do whatever it takes to get them on the sked, especially if we have the team to beat them.

Cotton Bowl, especially during state fair, would be much better. The house that Doak built.
