Too many times fans criticize the NCAA for not penalizing unsubstantiated rumors or hearsay. This case concerns admissions by the prime actor with substantiating evidence. Oregon is screwed.

What is your opinion regarding Lyles being an agent of the university, rather than a simple booster? Boosters usually give money to the program or to a recruit, an agent receives payment for a service, and not an after the fact (NCAA probe) outdated recruiting report. I really don't see the difference between an agent of the university and a salaried assistant football coach.

Check out my posts _i've been saying he's definitely a representatine of the university in the Oregon case where he accepted substantial sums and performed substantial services. I've been following the Will Lyles thing for about 4 years-nobody else seems that interested whenever I post about him.

If he is judged an "Agent" then every rule in the book has been broken, save for financial inducement (that too maybe) illegal contacts, lunches, rides, etc.

A Oregonian report by SBNation that Kelly's credibility is slipping:

I still will be shocked if Kelly gets canned or if anything major happens to Oregon, anything above a slap on the wrist. The NCAA knows how much money Nike has in college sports, and will cave before doing anything that will hurt Nike much at all.
