A&M game tickets

Is this game on the telly? I'll be heading back from Houston's win over the Bruins. Best wishes down in CS. C-USA needs a strong showing on Labor Day weekend. Lots of opportunity.

I'm just going to wait until 8/2 to try to get good tickets through aTm. The problem is that the SMU band and fans with a lot of points will get the field tickets - sections 147 - 149: http://www.gotickets.com/venues/tx/kyle_field.php

The rest of us will get sections 522 - 524. That's pretty high up.

Back in 2005, when the Aggies weren't all that great, I was able to easily get tickets in section 146 next to the SMU section. I'm going to try that again.

This raises several questions:

Since SMU hasn't sold out their allotment, do they still have seats left in Sections 147-149?
Will the seats available online 8/2 be better than Sections 522-524?
At what date does SMU have to return its unsold tickets?
If you can't get into Section 146, are you willing to sit in an area surrounded by Aggies?

In the SMU section but not sure where that is. According to Terry Hemme, the tickets will be assigned within the next two weeks and we should receive our tickets in 3 to 4 weeks.

SMU sections are 149 & 148.

sitting in the section where our tickets will be, if you sit and look straight ahead, you have a nice view of 5 yards behind the end zone. glad we're not at the other end though.
