Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMUTrue,
but I believe Tannehill opened up the O because he could throw and complete a pass to his recievers unlike Johnson who appeared when he was not overthrowing his recievers was completing more passes to the other team. GO MUSTANGS!
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMUSo looking at this, I see: Cyrus Gray, 2010 - 1100 yds, 10 TD's. Zach Line, 2010 - 1424 yds, 10 TD's.
Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not that scared. "I don't think anyone around the country has any idea how good we are going to be." - Coach Justin Stepp
GO MUSTANGS!!!!
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMU
I agree, how very Aggie. I still hate you frog, but that was a very solid post. #NewLobCity
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMUGray is a beast. He will be the first option that has to be stopped for SMU to stay in the game. Think Fuller next (WR)...the defense CAN do this.
Realistically, SMU must play a near-perfect game and A&M must turn the ball over for this to have a good outcome. We are due, and this team has the best shot, post DP to make this happen stable-boy for the four horsemen of the apocalypse
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMU
That's comparing apples to oranges when you are purely looking at overall statistics. Quite frankly, CG scares the crap out of me, especially if our defense is worn down in the second half. We have to stop/limit/contain him and CM on 1st and second down, so that we can bring the heat on 3rd down to pressure the Tannie Man. Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMU
We can't give up big runs, especially after a missed tackle. Hopefully, JJ and company understand the make or break nature of this game, and we respond with the biggest regular season win since TCU in 05. "smupony94: Harry, you have been promoted to purveyor of official status capabilities."
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMU
Believe it or not, I actually completely agree with you. I just put that up so that folks would realize we are not some high school JV team going out to play the big boys. We have a HUGE challenge ahead of us and will need to be damned near perfect in every phase, but I am tired of people coming on here talking like we already lost this game before it has been played. As I said on an earlier thread, we played the Aggies tight with a whole lot less talent than we are taking into College Station this year, so maybe it's a bit early to call this one in. GO MUSTANGS!!!!
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMUour defense against Tech and TCU which had decent backs. we couldn't tackle ECU's back, not sure why except that our offense put our D under a lot of stress and our D seemed to be worn down late in the season. I'm excited to see how we play but make no mistake, A&M's VERY talented. not as experienced a team as TCU last year but with more overall talent and depth
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMUSimple. To win this game we must SCORE on every drive, and hope for a turnover on defense or a defensive stand. I'm certain JJ knows this. Every man must do his job on every play. Go Ponies.
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMUsomeone find the highlights for Tulane's 1st half against us. Orleans Darkwa gashed us consistently.
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMUI would be more concerned with A$M's line. There seemed to be 13 of them. Cyrus can run to daylight though, break tackles and has speed to finish.
We will need to score in bunches to win this thing. ![]() Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMUGeez do any one of you watch college football. Gray didn't start until Christine Michael got hurt. Once he started it was lights out. He only started the last 7 games

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: Cyrus Gray - TAMU
Stop him? I seriously doubt it. Hopefully we can slow him down & Padron can put some points on the board. "3 and out" ain't gonna cut it in this game. No drops...no turnovers. We need to keep the Aggie offense off the field as much as possible. If we are going to be competitive in this game we've got to have a game like we had against Nevada in the Hawaii Bowl. Otherwise it could be a long night. C-ya @ Milos!
Cyrus Gray - TAMU
That was horrendous to watch. Hopefully we learned a lot from that game. We made him look like a superstar. Mustangs Abu!
