Why do you think BYU won't be invited, Nick?

I don't know what his reason is, but there's no way a religious-oriented school is getting into that conference. They didn't want Baylor last year either.

Well known aversion to religiously affiliated schools by Pac 10 members

Major exception is USC.

USC disassociated with the Methodist Church back in the 50s

Also, BYU can't play on Sundays. Big problem for all non-football sports.

Plus, the Pac-12 already has Utah. What would BYU even bring to the table for them tv market wise? A couple hundred thousand mormons that don't already live in the Pac-12 footprint?

I think the bigger reason for BYU exclusion from the PAC 10 is their academic profile.

The 16 team super conference won't support the idea of an independent, so I think UT, ND, and BYU are forced to join something.

If BYU is prohibited from the PAC 16, then I think TT goes and BYU joines the fifth conference.

OU and OSU will stay together. They have too much tied together from boosters.
