State Rep Eric Johnson likes SMU

For those that want to call instead of e-mail, his local office number is
(214) 565-5663. Once upon a time I worked in D.C. And while it is not always the case, response e-mails or calls to his statement are often appreciated and valued. I think Rep. Johnson made excellent points in his article and it would be great for everyone to let him know their appreciation.

Sent him an email as well. It's a great thing to see SMU getting so much positive publicity. Even the Gators in my office are taking notice.

His letter is up on the smu2b12 website now, as is Forde's article. They both are posted in a way to indicate a more balanced "SMU belongs in a BCS conference" than just an "SMU wants in the Big 12"-only one.
