Can someone get Orsini to stop talking?!

I also felt better about the tech loss than this one but aggy is a million times better than tech last year.

Still the loss was not embarrassing, how we played in this game was embarrassing. We'll see how the coaches and players respond against UTEP.

True. That's why we shouldn't be diving off high bridges with this loss.
Ours is a team that is improving. We're just not ready yet to take on the #8 team in the country in their place. That doesn't mean anything about the rest of the schedule. We can, and will, have a very good season this year.

Are we improving? We find out next week against UTEP. At this point we can't say either way.

Winning the Hawaii bowl doesn't even impress Iowa state. We lost at home to ARMY after having a month to prepare.

agreed. timing was way off for Orsini and his comments. I do believe that we were in a position in Q2 to hang with A&M but our confidence was dropping and we blew our momentum.

In hindsight, maybe we should not have looked past the Aggies to concentrate on UTEP.

Are you people on crack? Orsini has done wonders for our athletic program in his short time here. Remember when we had copeland and were a complete joke? We'll be lucky to keep him here

Remember that schedules are made roughly 10 years in advance. It is a crap shoot what your team or the opponent may be at that time. I admire teams like TCU and Boise State that looked 10 years down the line and made the call to schedule traditional big powers ( even for 1 game, no home field advantage and no return game) with the confidence that their programs would grow into the big time by then. You must schedule the big boys if you want to play at that level.

You would think the TCU folks would still be hiding their heads after losing to unranked Baylor. Bye Bye top 25 for the toads. Just concentrate of fixing up that defense of yours. At least we held A and M under 50, jack-wagon.

really?
so Orsini/Turner should just say nothing as A&M departs the Big 12?
then we'd have people complaining they were "asleep at the wheel"
maybe they cant wait until everything's just perfect...
they have to deal with a very fluid situation
they may see that conferences may be about to collapse
yes we cant compete on the field with the "big boys" yet
but i suppose from what they know they feel they needed to jump in now
and try to make sure our name was out there highlighting our best attributes

Except all our best attributes look like just another fluff piece like we've had how many times in the last 10 years. All a bunch of talk and never do anything to back it up.

You dont see Houston doing all that even though they're being mentioned for the big 12 and they have a Heisman hopeful.

you are wrong TCU - there has never been as much consideration for us as right now ...and that is partially because we are publically making our case. you dont win this deal by staying quite - we dont have the time for that.

Orsini needs to go into overdirve on public displays of BSC affection.
