I really think it would be a bad move to not let KP get on the field this week. Yes, JJ stepped up when we were in a bad way, but to write off a record breaking QB who is still viewed as the team's leader because of two bad series would be really dumb. JJ needs (and earned) some more playing time, but don't dismiss KP for the year or even for the next game. Give the kid a chance to redeem himself.

Watch the game again and watch DJs face after his first JJ reception...Don't think the receivers mind the change

Coaches' comments lead to the impression that a QB rotation may be on the horizon, which is not a good sign. QB rotations rarely work. The best one that I can remember off the top of my head is the Leake/Tebow rotation, but that was a RS Sr with a true freshman. No one does a rotation with a Jr. and RS Sr, unless both are not very good enough and the coaches are just hoping someone figures it out.

i think this is a good call. jj didn't seem to have any trouble picking out the smu wr who was open but several of his throws were dropped.

re: "J.J. was ready and he did a lot of good things in the game," Jones said. "We didn't protect him really well, and he still battled through it."

It appears that Kyle is less effective than he once was under pressure when the pocket collapses. Of course when the defenders are closing in it makes for a difficult situation, but great quarterbacks can wiggle loose and make something happen while on the run.
