What a bunch of old cranks. Just put on your white SMU shirt already - it aint that hard. If you dont have one go get one - you went to SMU so you are probably not destitute to the extent you cant get a new shirt.

I agree it should be red out or blue out - but since it ain't then just put on a white one.

Come on. They are announcing a color-out just about every game, and it is getting really old.

The traditional color-out is coupled with the team wearing the same color - and the team doesn't even wear blue on a blue-out, and we only got Marshall to agree to let us wear white for a white-out last year because it was November and it was cold as [deleted] and no home team in their right mind would choose to wear white.

While I hate to bash the athletic department for trying, if they want to do these color-outs they should be a bit more selective and do one blue (with the team wearing blue) and one red (with the team wearing red).

And lord help us please never another black-out...

Not a fan of these --- June doesn't even use the blue jersey which is such a shame. I would like to see us wear red, unless we are playing Houston. This isn't the Miami Heat.

Yes, UTEP will be wearing white...so it doesn't work.

Hope it is a sellout. Otherwise, it will look like the Marshall game last year where we had under 20,000 with a "whiteout" game in a sea of empty blue seats.

Sorry, school colors are Harvard red and Yale blue. Be happy to either redout or blueout any day of the week, but I'm not selling out my school's traditions.

I hate to go against the grain, but whoever comes up with this nonsense needs to hang with the band for a semester and learn something about the school and its proud traditions.
