The lei that June Jone's wears is a Ti leaf lei. Usually given out on weddings or graduations or big ceremonies. & I agree June Jones would much rather be in Hawaii & he'll take the Mustangs back to Hawaii any chance he'll get

I didn't see anyone getting married or graduating. Taking SMU back to Hawaii seems to be his only goal. Others would like to see a conference championship.

Better pay more than 800. Too cheap is why he left. granted, we've won a bit more since he's been here, but he's not the savior he's made out to be. UH continues to win 7, 8 games without him. Can't be just the great talent the islands produce. The coaches must be doing something right.

If we keep going to bowl games, he can wear all the leis he wants. For that matter, he could wear a patent black leather "machine" outfit, red leather thigh high boots, and feathered angels wings.
