Well it looked like McDermott did not run over to the sidelines for plays.

Most of the time JJ, KP and Kaiser were throwing signals. Thought that was interesting.

We had WR's open deep they either dropped the pass or the pass was not well thrown to them. Mcdermot can't make all the throws I'd prefere KP when he is playing well he is much better than JJ

Glad to see Jones coming into the 21st Century using hand signals instead of having the QB come over to the sideline every play.

JJ and KP both are able...we haven't yet seen this offense click, not even the Nevada bowl victory. It is high time the offense hits on all eight cylinders.
We tried to go deep when we were backed up near our own goal line and McDermott threw a couple of bad passes; one was short and receiver (who was open) had to come back to the ball (and DB unfortunately) and the other sailed out of bounds (receiver had his man beat deep). Would have been nice to score from 97 yds. Need to keep trying (and practicing that deep ball)

McDermott wasn't horrible, but wasn't great either. Maybe we just have two average QBs and that's why the offense is so vanilla.

The 2nd one went right through Darius Johnson's hands. It was right on target.

I wonder if this might say more about KP vs McD understanding of the offense?

And the first one wasn't exactly behind Holman. Wasn't where it should be, but it wasn't like it was 3 yards short.

Most of the time the low output from the offense was due to the receivers, not JJ. Several times, (especially those long sideline throws come to mind...) the ball was a great pass, but went right through the receiver's hands. This happened way too many times.
We have to get some good hands on the receiving side of the ball.

It was on his outside shoulder with cb paying with inside leverage. He looked over wrong shoulder for ball.
None of these guys read the defense, which from what I understand the most important part of the offense. They bring corner blitZ and these guys run 15 yard digs..they never come back to the ball. Numerous times balls that look pourly thrown were thrown with the assumption the wr would come back to the ball because they were coming on blitz
