Deal far from over. Questions on OSU going to the PAC12 still up in the air as well as if OU would be accepted.

The reality is OU is in a position to gain major concessions from UT in order to keep the B12 together. They are holding all the chips when it comes to keeping the B12 together. It will be interesting to see where all this goes and if SMU can make the move up somewhere amongst the changes.

What major concessions can OU get other than the LHN? If they go to equal revenue sharing OU will lose money.

It really doesn't matter what happens next, except we need to get this team SMU playing up to expectations and winning and becoming a viable selection for whatever BCS conference. One of these QBs must step up.

I'm thinking they can get concessions on the LHN. I'm not sure what exactly that means whether it's $$$ or a joint venture instead of just UT. Could be a lot of things. Texas wants to hold the conference together. And if OU could share the power I think they would too.

Wasn't OU going to launch their own network as well? Couldn't do that anywhere other than the B12.

Or

It could be Texas' way of forcing everyone else to make a decision that puts Texas exactly right where they wanted to be all along (Independent, ACC, PAC12). If that's the case, OU will get no concessions.
