No offense taken about my eyesight. I figured that what the problem was until I read other people remarking about the issue. I do regret ever saying anything since wearing a team color is one of my causes.
And yes, when the stadium is full the red out looks great, but that does not happen often. I have not looked and I am kind of afraid to, but is Oct 15th the same date as Texas/OU?
***EDIT*** I checked and UT/OU is 10/8, our open date. That is finally the way it should be so our game is not a footnote.

The Boy Scouts should have been required to wear SMU colors

oh geez. seriously? it's SAFETY ORANGE. they stand in the middle of the street. it's to keep them from getting hit by cars.

I wasn't picking on anyone specifically. I was really thinking about the days when our student section would wear shirts and hats of other teams and the older crowd not wearing any school colors at all. It was really discouraging a few years ago. We are making progress, as I haven't seen as much of that lately.

I like the idea of wearing red, but need to put more people wearing red in the upper blue seats. lower section looks pretty full as the empty red seats blend in well. I wore red and sat in the blue seats...just doing my part

leave the UT gear at home. This has been a segment on the Ticket..regardless of what event.
If I were Turner I would ban that cr@p altogether. UT garb = barred entrance to the game + escort off campus. Private school, our rules. C-ya. I don't care if your mother and father played football at UT and Bevo grew up on your farm. Unless you're a fan of the opponent, show some respect to the school whose game you're attending.
