Beasley was a low 2 star recruit so to Stallion that means he sucks.

If Colt Brennan is throwing the ball, production from the same wr's is doubled and the A&M game is close. Contrary to what Stallion predicted against A&M, our wr's were open early and often, qb's were either inaccurate or missed reads. I love me some Beasley but he'd be a lot more productive if he was bigger...no question he gets knocked off routes fairly easily

like the one where he was open 20 yeards downfield and McD completely missed with the throw? that would have been a 30 yard TD for sure.

Stallion wrote:TCU is No. 115 in Pass Efficiency Defense-don't know what to think about them-they played very well against Air Force and held Monroe to about 55 yards TO in the second half. But otherwise struggling. TCU is one of the teams that employ the extra DB.

I think the Monroe game is closer to who they are. Baylor has a potential NFL QB throwing to one of the best recieving corps in the nation in the first game and that game is going to skew their Defensive stats for the rest of the season. Heck, they got better as the game went on. Guessing Air Force didn't try to throw the ball tons, either.

Hopefully, however, there is a hole in there passing D the size of Texas.

can't forget that you don't get a lot of YAC while McD's constantly throwing the ball behind receivers or forcing them to make acrobatic diving catches.

also, can't forget that some of the lack of production has to do with the success of the ground game. at times.

not so much in the second half of the UTEP game.

There is no question we need production on the outside, but hey, there will be no lighting problem on Saturday!
