This is probably the worst possible outcome for us. Only hope I'd the MWC-CUSA merger. If not, the nuclear option may be our best route.

nope. our best chance is if the Big XII stays regional. They won't stay at 10, and with better leadership, the Big XII could be in the super conference mix. Adding TCU strengthens the regional appeal and if SMU and UH continue to show improvement, we could be very logical additions moving forward

All the more reason we need to beat TCU this year. A must game for sure.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I don't see how anyone can look at TCU going to the Big 12 as positive for us.

Tcu doesn't get in big xii without complete big east implosion. That won't happen. Big east needs TCU to maintain BCS status. Buyout too great.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

This is something I have not heard talked about. Is TCU's buy out, whatever it is, in effect since they are not officially in the BE yet?

Of course if the B12 wanted them each school could throw in a million or so and pay for the buy out.

Big 12 will (ironically) not be going to 12 teams anytime soon. Texas wants to easiest road possible to a BCS national championship game- thus, having 12 teams and an extra conference championship game is not a realistic possibility.
