a little confusing...........

we would all love to have a final score in the emphatic, blow-out range. but, if we pull it off, will all the people come out crying that we shouldn't have scored so much on an inferior team?

I don't see us scoring 52 points-maybe 38. We don't have a real gamebreaker so it takes awhile to move down the field. Defense should give us a comfortable victory. How about 38-17. As for CUSA-its what I keep saying-look at our Division and tell what team SMU should EVER lose to once it gets its [deleted] together. Maybe Houston. We should destroy every other program every other year. We should expect to run CUSA West every year and then have a showdown with UH.

I just don't see this as a trap game. Memphis gave up 600 yards twice! Zach Line could win this by himself and I think we finally see TD's from Beasley and DJ along with a bomb(s) to Thompson.

Norm said SMU to kill Memphis in Picks of the Pol.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I think we will see a very complete game from both our O and D. Will be nice to see back-to-back games of complete performances before tcu!

That is not optimism, that is Stallion saying what we should be doing, and if we do not then you get the usual comments that you expect from him.

Concerning the punting game, how many punts has Margus blocked? There's a chance we could take away the one thing they're good at.

99% sure it is zero, he is not on the punt return/block team.

That's what I was thinking, but I've been wrong before. Thanks.

OMG...this is nowhere near a 'trap' game...give us all a break. Memphis is bad. We won't score 52, but see a 31-3 or 31-7 game score.

A few years back, they said the exact same thing about SMU. We've come a long way since then.

To be fair our punter went on to help win a superbowl

Wonder if there is any chance they might use Margus on the punt return team to try and block a punt. That would certainly give their punter something to think about. Also might be a good weapon for future games.

GO PONIES!!!
