They completely ripped us for this and were totally off base in the comment.
No surprise. Corby is the college football blowhard.
I set them straight on twitter. I'm sure they didn't make any correction on the air though.

I love these guys but what their discussion devolved in to is what always happens with them and college football. It is what happens when a TCU and 2 UNT guys have the mic.
Corby covered his [deleted] by congratulating June and not really delving in to the Patterson thing, but after that it's just so uninformed its painful. Somebody already addressed the ticket allotment thing but they just dog SMU and completely overlook the fact TCU is about 10 years ahead of us in this thing when it comes to getting excitement in to the program and big crowds. It basically boiled down to a Fort Worth and TCU are sweeter for football than Dallas and TCU fans are awesome fans. And speaking of TCU fans being awesome fans, every single person who went to TCU I know who was at the SMU game last week, minus 2 I think, did not go in to the game but sat and drank in their really sweet parking lot the entire game, same damn thing that happens at SMU except they were standing in a freakin parking lot.
For Danny, I always like him, hes funny and knows his baseball. But, when discussing SMU came up his generalizations made him sounds like a bitter redneck, which was disappointing.
And yeah, they didnt correct it and they won't for reasons in rant listed above.

I did too, but, you're right, no way they issue a correction.

Is there someone on here that wants to argue our attendance doesn't suck. Why is that so harsh. Its true.

Our attendance is on the up-flow. Slow for sure, but still going up. Does it still suck, he!! YES! The issue was their [deleted] about us only caring enough to bring 1,000 to FW. Any time in the past FW trips, we have brought 3-5K. The year we almost went to a bowl (I think '97) we had at least 5K there. It's hard to get tickets when none are available.

Of course our attendance is terrible that isn't really the point. The point is we sold all of the tickets that TCU gave us and then whatever we could pick up from their ticket office and stubhub. We could have sold more tickets to this game if given the opportunity.

This And of course Corby was talking about TCU vs. SMU in a manner in which everything about Fort Worth and TCU and the TCU fans are inherently better than SMU and always will be because SMU people suck and so do Dallas people who will never jump on the bandwagon. It's not like a decade of winning really did THAT much for TCU and it was still super awesome compared to SMU at all points prior to where we are right now.

I told him to get his facts straight. This was their response. TicketRadio 1310 TheTicket Radio RT @natesewell: How about you guys get your facts straight. <-- Corby has no time for facts.

That's why his rants are great and to be taken with a grain of salt, unless the rants are directed at you.
Doesn't help he announces every day that he went to TCU like it was an accomplishment as opposed to being really unfortunate.
