Yes. I posted it on the letter thread to bring that thread to a close but the reality is that it's big enough to deserve it's own thread (or eight, given the trend this week).

With his name and the fact that SMU just beat him all over the news, I though Patterson was our new head of marketing. Doing a great job of getting SMU in the news and letting everyone know we won against TCU. He made sure we we covered by multiple new outlets and the best thing is.... TCU is paying his salary while he promotes us!

I wish I could look at this as positive and opportunistic. But it just smells like being reactive and late to the dance as opposed to proactive and capitalizing on momentum.

Looking forward to having an AD with a marketing background as opposed to a accountant.
