Re: When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against USS - I didn't want to read through the [deleted] contest that happened last night. I am honestly interested in how we can move forward. I don't always agree with your opinions, however, you do provide an insight I often have not considered.
Re: Re: When do we get to talk about the upcoming game again
Will beasley be back?

• WR Cole Beasley, who sat out of the win over TCU with a knee injury, "ran a little for the first time" Thursday. He followed practice with a visit to the training room, and left the Loyd All-Sports Center with a bag of ice on his knee. Beasley said he hopes to "start cutting" (while running) Saturday, and retains hope that he can return to the lineup in time for next week's game against UCF.
Re: When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against UUSU football: Evan Huahulu update
The Salt Lake Tribune Published: October 6, 2011 11:34AM Updated: October 6, 2011 11:34AM It's been a few weeks since Huahulu, who transferred to Utah State from SMU, left the football team. But the presence of the nosetackle is still missed. Coaches have had little to say on the issue as to why Huahulu isn't an Aggie at this point. Gary Andersen did say that Huahulu will remain on scholarship and that he remains in school and is still going to class. "The goal is for him to graduate," Andersen said. Huahulu himself has been unavailable for comment. His mother, Cynthia Anne Fenno Huahulu, did speak to the Tribune on Thursday morning. "Evan completely supports the football team, and he completely supports the school," Huahulu said. "He has no ill feelings towards anyone, and right now his focus is on graduating. He's very thankful for his opportunity to play at Utah State and loves the school and the community." Evan Huahulu, at this point, still has football eligibility remaining, although it's not known whether he wants to pursue another athletic opportunity or not. Cynthia Huahulu did say that her son is on track to graduate this spring, and that his next move in life will be teaching/coaching underpriviledged kids. Evan Huahulu is the second USU player to leave the program since August. Quarterback Alex Hart left the team two weeks into preseason practice. Tony Jones

FIFY Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against UWill be great to get Beas back, but at least these guys know they can win big games without him.
But it sure makes me feel better knowing he's out there. One of the most consistent WR's we've had in a long time (excluding ES, of course). Derail the Frogs!
Re: When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against U
wow. interesting. I guess, he was really burned out on football. wish him well. glad he's graduating.
Re: When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against UOther than the obvious; that SMU needs to win every game it plays, I believe this game against UCF is really a tell tale game. If SMU comes out and plays physical football with a lot of intensity like they did against TCU; if the QB continues to progress; if there is no sense of entitlement because we beat TCU, ; if SMU also plays with poise and maturity and wins the turnover battle; then I believe we can say that SMU football is really making progress and is coming of age. If the opposite holds true and the team is flat, it will be a setback
Re: When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against UWe can't talk about UCF...we have more panic attacks to go!

Re: When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against U
I like JJ's line that UCF "won't care that we beat TCU".
Re: When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against UI'm kind of excited June Jones identified Kyle Guinyard as the most impressive player in the Freshman Bowl-there were plenty of guys returning from injuries that appeared to have contributed. I was about to give up on him because of successive injuries but now I wonder if he gets a shot later in the year. I see potential in both Thompson and Holman but I wouldn't be surprised if Guinyard is more polished than both once he's healthy. Catching about 110 passes as a Junior show he must nave natural instincts as a receiver. He was the most prolific receiver in Texas High School Football as a Junior/Senior while he was healthy with a 138 catches for 2200 yards in 1.3 seasons

Re: When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against US.M.U. (Seats Must be Used)
Show Details Mustang Fans: We hope this note finds you enjoying our victory over TCU and the return of the "Iron Skillet" to its rightful home! With a 4-1 record and 2-0 conference record, we still have all of our goals within reach for 2011. As we prepare for a great stretch of Mustang football in the coming weeks, please remember our next home game is October 15th against UCF (a rematch of last season's Conference USA championship game). Kickoff time has been announced as 2:30 p.m. As you may know, this game is phase two of our Sellout Stampede initiative designed to Fill Ford Stadium for a national television audience and help us put our best foot forward. As a season ticket holder, we are simply asking you to do one of three things (that don't cost any money!): Be in your seats on October 15th If you can't be there, pass them on to a friend, colleague or family member (remember, if your tickets are scanned, it adds to your priority point total) If you can't find anyone to use the ticket(s), donate them back to the athletic department so we may work towards truly filling Ford Stadium Option 2 can be done online through your SMU Mustangs ticket account. If you are opting for Option 3, please call 214-SMU-GAME (768-4263) and let us know of your intention to donate back your tickets. Our players are excited to play in front of a huge home crowd on October 15th. You can make that happen! PLEASE PONY UP AND HELP US FILL THE FORD!
