Garret Gilbert transferring to SMU

Does this give us a shot at 3-star TCU commit, Griffin Gilbert?

he is a 4 star on rivals. I am not sure how he would fit in our offense. I am not even sure we are recruiting him but if we are I would say that this improves our chances.

He didn't want to follow Garrett to Texas so why follow him here?
