yep, the SEC can actually afford to take a flyer on a school like SMU if it wants the market presence because the league is too strong as it is and doesn't need another powerhouse. Conversely, the Big 12 just lost alot of power and does not have the luxury to add Tulane whose program is in the absolute toilet and years away from being competitive again as we sit here right now.
