So, we're mentioned in every possible option? That works.

Here's the link about the Boise invite. However, if you look at the time of the article, it was written at about 2am this morning. This came out BEFORE the New Jersey article about potential conferences.

I think for SMU to be in for sure that EITHER Boise or Navy has to be out. Otherwise it's a 50/50 bet.

And then there is this from the Washington Post:

Navy, Army and Air Force appear unlikely to all join Big East Conference

This would be excellent because SMU would be in under all options-more clearly written than prior reports. I still would prefer Houston along with SMU or no more "roadtrips" Geez it would be a long drive

Yeah, as discussed earlier--Army doesn't look like its going to join a conference due to its history with CUSA

Who knows, maybe their thought process if they're going to go out and grab a bunch of land grants, we want a private to offset it.

Good to see that SMU, apparently, is in under all scenarios.
Makes sense w/the large block of private Catholic schools in BE.
That, and our TV market.

We're going to be on a pretty small island if we get in the west with Boise, Cinci, Louisville, WVA and Air Force. You think we travel poorly to away CUSA games now?

I am somewhat surprised that the Presidents of the Big East are allowing Boise. Their academics are truly horrible.

Mentioned several times that the ADs are pushing for Boise and the Presidents are balking

as for road travel, those are easy cities to fly to. except boise. cool place if you've never been. it's really beautiful, but i can't see how they fit into the BE puzzle except for their BCS points.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
