the really disappointing part of this is June could have made some big moves in this area with the retirement of the "3 Amigos". I really don't think June Jones is going anywhere unless its his decision EVEN if he wins only 4-5 games this year. So we are stuck with a broken recruiting Model now because I doubt he gets rid of the remaining core of his staff

Who would you retain and who would you go after to replace the coaches let go?

I've been saying for awhile I would have targeted Desoto's Claude Mathis-probably as RB Coach. He actually was hired by Tony Levine at UH but decided to return to Desoto a year ago. A local job might have eased his concerns. Cup of coffee in NFL. Worked at Texas St several years ago. About 10 years experience as head coach-also coached in Austin before Desoto. Considered for Texas RB Coach last year
