GG is a good QB and we still have conference games to go. we need him, but i agree burcham should get some snaps in garbage time

Garbage time meaning the next two games?

Specifically the last 3 1/2 quarters in each of the next 2 games will be garbage time. We're going to get killed.

GG isn't the issue this year. Two games no interception. Throwing for over 600 yards. Rushing for over 100 more. This guy is hitting receivers. And receivers are continuing to drop too many passes.

Fumbles and penalties were the huge issue.

The D playing like cupcakes for 3 quarters hurt as well. this one wasn't GG.

There were plenty of mistakes by the entire team to push this one to the edge.

Burcham could not have lead that game-winning drive. That was all Gilbert. He earned that win, even if his play wasn't as great as you'd like it to be.

Very true. I will concede that last drive GG won the game. Looked very good.

Cool. So the next time I come to NC, the first beer is on me.

GG is much improved but I still see far too many balls thrown behind and over the heads of wide open guys. As many balls as our guys drop, they also make some acrobatic catches

True. But we have far bigger issues on this team than QB, yet that seems to always be one of, if not the first things we complain about.

I thought GG played pretty well. He does hold on to the ball too long at times but he was not the problem. The blame falls squarely on the defense, and the O-line

Who setup this thread? Must have been pretty freaking high, blind and stupid. GIlbert was the one good thing in this whole game. He had to be one man scrambler when the o-line collapses as usual, he had to throw perfect so receivers had no f-ing reason to drop the ball 1,000 times like they did, and had to deal with a receiver who lost his man card by acted like a girl an say "here you go sir, you can have the ball" like seriously use your pee brain and watch the game again and realize this was not GGs fault. Must have been JJ writing this thread and his cohorts.

This was the first game in a long time where our offense actually kept us IN IT. Our defense was absolutely atrocious most of the game. This secondary is pathetic and not many playmakers anywhere. We got a few crucial sacks, but generally we have no pass rushing. Why isn't Minor playing? I know I'll get flamed for this but guys like Beau Barnes and Bordano are FCS level.

Very happy we squeaked this out, but we need to play talent (see what Taylor and Nlemchi did? Joseph? . . . you play talent even if they are not ready . . . Need to see Minor . . . also I didn't see Gaines this game?)

Injuries are huge. Rambo in the middle helps us against the MSU run game. And helps with over the middle passes. We have injuries to a couple of RB. Glad we have depth there but running back by committee isn't a winning program. We have some many weak areas that have to improve. GG isn't one of them for a change.

Not Burcham time yet, Gilbert hasn't done anything to be pulled. Not that June would pull him anyway, this dink and dunk ball is designed to make Gilbert look better than he is so he can get some NFL looks.

My point was if we are going to play poorly and lose games, I want to see Burcham.

MY PEE WEE BRAIN got me to the position of General Counsel at 2companies by age 31. What do you do? Alumnn11? Get off Gilbert's nutzak and open your eyes instead of your throat. Pm me. I am going to kick your [deleted] in front of your mom during family weekend.

I agree. Gilbert is a good QB this year.
