He was probably telling loftis he was being yanked

We do better on field position in the first qtr (two punts totaling 40 yes - really?) and we more than likely win the game.

if was one thing we should have learned from having Morested - it is a really good idea to have a great punter - and worth searching out the best one you can find, not picking the punter by default.

June thinks his goofy offense can get him out of any hole - a thesis not borne out by the facts at anytime in his career.

From Loftus' bio:
Ranked as the No. 6 kicker in the nation by Scout, No. 8 by ESPN.com, No. 9 by Chris Sailer Kicking and No. 17 by Rivals

No excuses trying to be made here but I am wondering if Loftus might be hurt. I watched the replay and after one of his punts (the second one I believe) he seemed to wince a little. After that Hover took over the punting. The wince may have been out of frustration, but it is possible he is hurt so I will wait on word about that until forming my opinion.

Didn't Loftus do kickoffs for the rest of the game or am I just imagining things?
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Pretty sure Hover did them from the point that Hover started punting.
