Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction ThreadOne of the last few I think we can win. I say 48-10 first half and final score 51-45 SMU.
Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction ThreadTemple's defense while not great has not been that bad. I think only Cincy with 38 and Louisville with 30 points had over 30. Notre Dame 28. UH 22. The thing to look for is their true freshman QB performs. He wasn't all that bad in his first start against Cincy-pretty solid against Army too

Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction ThreadTemple must not be taken lightly. We score first and often. 51-17.

Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction Thread...then again after reading the Temple Scout board there seems to be almost universal agreement that our strength in the passing game goes against Temple's greatest deficiency-its secondary

Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction Thread
I placed mine at SMU -11 yesterday, it's now being offered at -12.5 Beat the hell out of anybody!
Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction ThreadLine actually started at -10 and has moved to -12 1/2 or13 last I looked. I say 34 - 21. No more gift TDs, let's finish this one. I'm thinking Shead has his first good game. He looked a bit tentative against Memphis and didn't see holes fast enough, this game the blocking improves and so does he.
Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction ThreadWe put a complete game together in all 3 phases and win 38-17
#Beat Clemson
Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction ThreadWe win but don't cover. This is a great chance for SMU to play well for four quarters rather just one or two. I am just not sure they will do it.

Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction Thread41-17 SMU
Gilbert goes nuts and Shead breaks out.
Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction Thread
Right, we can't seem to play a full game and not just this season either.
Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction ThreadI feel pretty good about this one unless the weather is awful.
SMU 38 Temple 21 Traylon Shead gets more than 100 yards rushing. Concerned to see what happens at Safety-love to see more of Deep Threat with Thompson back. If Thompson could finally reach his potential I could see riding Senior QB to a Bowl-but I'm sticking with 5 wins. I thought last week that Gilbert had more good throws leading receivers to a big downfield gain than I've seen in the past. Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction ThreadYeah I think it's time to build on some good things. It's going to be really interesting to see if DJ can make it happen. A deep threat and a running game and we would have a real chance to play some good football.

Re: Official: SMU vs. Temple Prediction ThreadI understand that June go up early this morning to work on the "game plan" for today's game. He went to the file cabinet and looked under the "T"'s" and he found Tulane. After cognizing about that for awhile he went back to the file cabinet and looked under the "O''s" and found the game plan for Owls.
I predict: *Umbrella drinks on The Boulevard. *Seats left nice and clean after the game. *Iceberg! What Iceberg? ![]() *Full Steam Ahead! Full Steam Ahead!
Do you need anymore ice? Let me help you arrange those deck chairs.

Temple 17 We'll make this one more interesting than it needs to be but Temple won't be able to capitalize on enough of our mistakes to win. They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security
