I am going to use "dissatisfaction lemur" at some point during the upcoming work week, just to see what others say about it. I think it's brilliant.

SC Pony wrote:Jone's squad beat four 1A teams this season. Per ESPN:
Memphis 3-9 (112) Temple 2-10 (92) UConn 3-9 (108) USF 2-9 (123)
The numbers in parentheses are their rankings in terms of points scored.
SMU's victories came against teams with 2.5 wins apiece on average (USF still has a game to play). Sadly enough, five of those total wins were recorded against each other.
And JJ thinks that he has leverage.
OK, June fans retort.
Hey SC Pony, "SMU wins 27.2 percent of its games over a 19-year span, regularly drawing crowds in the 11,000, 12,000 and 13,000 range. Jones show up and takes SMU to four bowl games in five years and you want to fire him. It's tougher to win and recruit there than you think. If SMU was still a destination program for kids, it would be in the Big 12 -- not the American Athletic Conference." Thanks, the Goose

Just refer to them as "seasons where we went .500". "Bowl games" makes it sound like we actually did something beyond mediocrity.

yay ponyboy bringing up sagarin rankings again. no one gives a crap about it. we are garbage and our recruiting is too meaning we don't have much hope for future seasons in terms of talent. im glad you finally agree with us that June needs to go, but he shoulda gone after ASU 2 years ago. that way we wouldn't have these two poor recruiting classes for '13 and '14. this is a crucial time that will reveal our future in college football, and we wasted two important years so that the dinosaur can cash in his check.
