Looks like things are really devolving around these parts.

I took a break because FTHP and others were running the board into a sophomoric sideshow. I still support SMU football and all of our student athletes. I wish JJ had left town after the 2013 season but I understand why we couldn't buy him out. I think Rick Hart was in a tough spot and I will judge him on his next hire, not the JJ situation.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Happy New Year to all

You will stand up and let the admin. know that you will no longer support their passion for mediocrity by not buying fball tickets, not giving to the university and not giving donations to the MC until a major change is made. Comprende?????????????????

BTW- I suspect that there are far more than 6 who are p!ssed about jj still being here and having been given an extension.

I definitely agree there are far more than 6 people who feel that way. He has a point that a limited selection of those people are posting similar rants over and over, but that is how it is on message boards sometimes.

I disagree that continuing to support the program means someone is a sheep. I have asked June difficult questions to his face at the luncheons and emailed hart with a number of critical comments, and all of that (plus my posts here) is with my real name as opposed to hiding behind a pseudonym throwing a fit.

My apologies. I'm on no sleep for last few days. My wife and 9 month old caught the norovirus while we were traveling for the holidays. We returned yesterday and she has 4 new teeth coming in, poor girl. We've been up all night every night for days.

Going to take a break from posting for a long while. At least on the football board. Sorry if offended anyone. Crying baby in so much pain has been maddening for me.

Happy new year. See y'all again when I'm feeling like myself.

PonyinNC I feel your pain. My 8 month old has teeth coming in and nights are rough. Days aren't much better. Best of luck getting to feel better and the wee one too.

I've made a few sleep-depraven posts with my 11-month old too! Don't sweat it and hang in there. It gets better??? Sleep gets easier to come-by but illness still mucks it all up.

When my son is crying, I just look at it as his way of voicing his displeasure of the JJ extension too. It's more cathartic than annoying that way. I tell him I feel the same way.

When I saw the thread title I thought it was an ad for an Asian restaurant.

Your quote reminded of this quote from the movie, Team America: World Police.
Janeane Garofolo: As actors, it is our responsibility to read the newspapers, and then say what we read on television like it's our own opinion.

I'm curious what the post said as well, but I'm sure it's nothing that the sane 99% of the anti-june folk around here think. glad we are policing the message board to protect that 1 recruit with another offer who might be offended by a disgruntled post on this little message board.

Haha that was my first thought too. I thought Maybe Wangs from the prestonwod center was expanding its advertising demographic into Smu athletics message boards

Wow No MSG for me either. I encourage FTH especially to go "No MSG" during the new year
