Glitter is harder to remove than you think.

And if the heat is anything like it was two years ago in Waco, it will be miserable. Thankfully Baylor's new stadium is open at the south end. Maybe get a little breeze. Then again, if your in a suite it does not matter.
Right. Stadium has partial enclosure like a Euro stadium (so good luck with air circulation) and was constructed on a mosquito infested part of the Brazos River. On another note - BU is encouraging boats to the game like the Vols and Huskies ( no wake zone)

6 pm gives you plenty of time to pregame at Georges before hand.

It was designed for air flow from the south. Will it work, who knows. Having toured the stadium last month, I'm not sold on the Brazos River set up for transporting people to the game. Getting in and out of that stadium is going to be a nightmare. One more thing, the scoreboard set up will not help air flowing into the stadium

George's WAY overrated. Go to Salty Dawg or Lone Star Tavern.

Not gonna argue that, but I felt like I had 8 big O's plus my gfs drinks and three glasses of Jamesons for Thad and somehow my tab was only 30 bucks...

I appreciate ya'lls encouragement ... I might now try to wake up at 6 am, drive to Denton and start drinking.
Also, at the last Baylor game, there was like a 45+ minute wait at George's some three hours before the game, and when I left in the third quarter and headed there, there was still no hope of getting a seat. Still would like to go there though.

George's is setting up their Party Tent on the North Side of Martin Luther King Blvd, just North of the Stadium (about a six min walk). The parking area there is a private lot not affiliated with Baylor or the Stadium. This will be the first game and Baylor has sold out it's tickets. You can expect chaos.

Be prepared for and make plans for parking. All of the close in Parking, including on Campus, is reserved for season ticket holders. The city of Waco has made plans for 19,500 game attendees, roughly 43% of the stadium capacity to park in downtown Waco. A buss shuttle will transfer fans to and from the Stadium and downtown Waco.
Waco Transit says it will use 6 to 10 buses, which seat 31 seated passengers and between 55 to 60 standing passengers, to pick up fan at Heritage Square in downtown Waco at the corner of 5th Street and Austin Avenue.
If you plan to attend the BU vs SMU game have your parking strategy planned and confirmed prior to leaving and come early.

Any residential areas in walking distance?
