SMU in large letters on the front of the jersey is how it should be also. Very good indeed.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Best uniform in college football. Classic, timeless, and iconic. Immediate recognition of who we are and what we are about. Why we have tried to deviate from such undeniable greatness is beyond me. Stick to this and never change it.

I thought I'd heard there would also be a red uniform similar to the blue one from the Rutgers game last year, and that gray pants might be added to the combo as well.
My #1 wish is for custom Nike gloves with the Pony logo on them like all the big programs have. These can't be that expensive.

I thought I read somewhere that this was stopped. If so, we missed out. Not that it's impossible to reproduce. LOVE the idea.

It certainly looks from that side picture in the original post that the bigger pony is back on the helmet as well. Bigger pony on helmet, big SMU across the chest, blue uniforms, we are actually recruiting...is this real life?
