Re: OT: It's official — AAC officially adds ECU, Tulane, TulSeriously, sb, you'd rather have Pitt (who WE clobbered), Syracuse who has not even been a .500 football team and Rutgers, a moment in the sunshine about 10 years ago. They were the laughing stock of BCS when in the Big East. No traveling fans, no fan base in Dallas, bad road trips and coooooold. With Louisville the AAC is a better football league than the Big East. Without UL, it's close.
Re: OT: It's official — AAC officially adds ECU, Tulane, TulI would far rather have Pitt, Syracuse, and Rutgers. AAC is soft in football. We could win the AAC without beating 1 top 40 team.

Yes, I'd seriously rather have Pitt, Syracuse and Rutgers. Having those schools would mean more money and more prestige for the conference. They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Check the attendance of the last few games with Tulsa and Tulane at Ford........... Peruna is my mascot!
Re: OT: It's official — AAC officially adds ECU, Tulane, TulAnd which of Pitt, Syracuse and Rutgers is a top 40 team? UCF, Cincinnati, Houston and ECU will be higher ranked than those three dead weights. I'm just saying they are no help in football, except possibly bringing in a few more bucks than we get now from ESPN, but even that is debatable. Let's check at the end of the season.
Re: OT: It's official — AAC officially adds ECU, Tulane, Tul
Pitt, Rutgers & Syracuse 2013 Avg Attendance: 44,855 ECU, Tulane & Tulsa 2013 Avg Attendance: 27,875 Pitt, Rutgers & Syracuse 2013 Average Sagarin Rank: 72.3 ECU, Tulane & Tulsa 2013 Average Sagarin Rank: 93 Looks to me like Rutgers, Pitt and Syracuse would be more help in football than ECU, Tulane and Tulsa. They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

And ESPN agrees with you, hence the $128 M offer instead of the $1.2 B the Big East was offered with WVU, Pitt, Cuse, Rutg, Lville still in it.
