I'm not clear on how any player could possibly be "way better" than GG was last year. He didn't have a lot to work with.

QB was not our problem last year. Whether or not it is this year remains to be seen.

They beat WVU by 31 in Waco, OU and Tech by 29 in Waco/Dallas and finished off the season with UT by 20. With it being the opening game of McLane Stadium and a new SMU QB, 30 is a good line. It's very high for an in-state rivalry type game.

You just don't care about constant derailed threads spitting dribble, about expanding ford to 50K next year IN EVERY THREAD, and all the non-sense he spouts.

I refuse to be a realist. I choose to be a die hard fan. I will take my blind optimism. I hope the 30 spread gives the guys a chip on their shoulder and shut up the Bears in their fancy new Brazos stadium. Baylor is going to waltz into the game thinking it is all sewn up before kickoff and be in for a shocking loss in their new home.

ESPN then gets a little bone-er for SMU Football being back baby! We become the talk of the town and grow our t-shirt fan base from 3 people to 19. Boom.
