DMN: Gosselin on Prescott Line

Pass Protection is a huge part of a running back's responsibility in any offense, but especially in ours, so Line's blocking ability has huge value.

None of our running backs got a fair shake last year bc the O-Line was not good, I look for them to be much improved. Also the draw or zone is as effective when you have a lot of horizontal routes in the passing game bc the DB's are not on their heels and playing further off...going back to more vertical routes will help the run game as well, ala ZL's 3 big years for us.

So I look for our yards per carry to definitely be up this year, whether it is Line, Pope or Gresham...I think Durall needs to redshirt. Nlemchi has struggled in pass protection and doesn't run tough in between the tackles and this is what has limited his playing time...maybe he will step it up this year.
