Doesn't that location flood all the time?
No. It's got a dam up river.
I'm sure there is a large boat ready to be built in case of flood.

Well, the concourses at Ford are among the most sterile, boxed in and least characteristic of any football stadium I've been in. Plus, there's very little airflow so when you have a lot of people arrive for a game, it can get a little stuffy. Here's to hoping SMU will do something to upgrade them.

As much as I'd love to see it, and as much as I agree with your assessment of the BU, we ain't pounding nobody. Not in football. Not this year.
Difficult but not impossible my friend. Very difficult indeed though

I can't believe SMU has fans that feel this strongly about Baylor. Wow.

Not anymore. A new dam was built sometime between '04 and '08 that probably helped. Parts of the land still falls into an AE flood zone (100 year flood plain), but I don't think it's flooded in a long time.

The odds of y'all pounding us and PowerBall have a lot in common. But that does mean there's a chance. (Cue Dumb & Dumber Meme)

Came to post this. Dancing was banned until 1996? That's Taliban sh*t

We don't, that guy is a TCU fan.

Assuming the inside is nice, at least there will be one nice thing in Waco instead of none.
In an earlier post I said that the exterior style reminds me of a something from a 1960s junior college. Good or bad they were out-recruiting us even when they played in that old dump.

Ah, that makes total sense. I love playing the old SWC teams (well, y'all and Rice at least) but I couldn't figure out the hate.

Hate is a really strong word in my vocab.. That said, I intensely dislike the f-aggies and the whorens. I just kinda dislike Baylor, the froggies, and dislike mucho mas the lubbock clan and their ilk.
Hope the bears do well in all sports except bball and fball.

So, basically you are hoping that God is a Baptist that loves football. Hope you guys are right on that. Contrary to some of the others on the board, I have driven by the stadium several times and think it looks great.
