We didn't load our schedule. We're in Year-7 of JJ this year & we were suppose to be as good or better than our competitors.

We had the correct schedule. Our coach let us down!!!
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

this was a schedule designed to give SMU a shot at a BCS bowl...but it appears we are still a class and a half away

They are in a large metropolitan area. Tough academic standard. They run a gimmick offense. They can't recruit their hometown which supplies talent to every SEC and ACC school. Small alumni base. 7-5 record. A-hole coach who doesn't care about recruiting. Running a huge athletic budget deficit. New basketball arena. Do any of these sound familiar?

Don't blame the students. They did show up. The student section is small as [deleted]. Make the bottom bowl student section

Once the winning starts & consistently, the student issue will take care of itself - like everything else. Let's lay off the students & the rest of the crowd until we start winning.

Basketball proved the point that once winning starts - crowd issues go away - & WAY AWAY!!!

Students were there and not just for mob points. You can check in for points outside the stadium no real reason to go inside. Students were there and I believe would have stayed if the product was good. Unfortunatly like every game, I end up sitting with one or two friends by ourselves in the back of the student empty student section.

And we are almost completely starting over with the offense. However, the guys don't seem to be giving up, and if we keep this up we'll get a few teams in conference. It's not going to be a good year, it's certainly not where we should be after seven years, but we've seen a heck of a lot worse. We are NOT the worst team in the country, despite what the first three games look like.

I'm not trying to be negative. If anything I am usually positive, but the fact is we are by far the worst team in the country. Name a team that is worse than us?

Note the huge difference in turnovers this game vs. the previous 2. We did a much better job protecting the ball.

A young walk-on QB limited the O. Still, they protected the ball and moved it at times. Got a long way to go but there was improvement.

Agree. No forced TO. Which I would expect from young qb in similar situation

Yes, it's all the students' fault that we're 0-3 and have been outscored 145-12. Clearly if they had shown up we would have those numbers reversed.
