I love your avatar. How many don't know that it is.
Thanks. I was about to change it but then didn't. Yeah, and the adapter is blue. I pretty much look at myself as an athlete in running and an artist in music recording, a mezzosoprano. I got to record my own songs growing up. I made records etc. Even today I say I'm making a record instead of a CD or whatever. I love to get out 78s and 45s and 33s and records of different colours. I still have records that came off the back of cereal boxes, you know, like a cardboard record. All of my avatars or signatures are about me or people I know who mean a lot to me or possibly someone I don't know who means a lot to me.

Cowlishaw has consistently written about SMU and has always been fair and straightforward, and I think usually spot on- as he is here.

It might have helped if the press (Cowlishaw) had actually paid attention to what was going on at SMU and hammered Jones' and his staff for their lousy recruiting when it was obvious that he had checked out a couple of year's ago. We didn't just get into this mess overnight and the press is just as accountable in my mind as the SMU administration (Orsini) is that saddled the school with a lousy follow-up contract that apparently did not have any penalties for nonperformance.

The DMN is a publication. Get mad at them not me. You don't strike me as being a pro censorship type of person but if you are so be it. It was going to get posted anyway so get over or go to bed mad. It doesn't bother me whatever you decide because I could are less.

Got this from a poster on another site.
ESPN radio today post game national comment - "what in the hell is going on in Dallas w SMU? They're right back to where they were after death. No excuse for that in Dallas Texas."

Someone in the media finally said it, hopefully this won't be the last instance.

Our so called bad recruiting may have been because of bad vibes with the Mustang Club, this board, and JJ over the last 3 years Get USED to it I'm sure recruits read this CR*P

And all this time the area high school coaches were saying that the SMU coaches were not even coming by their schools to recruit. I guess they were wrong.

Lol. You had to go to another site to find that? Same is said here in about every thread. Then why didn't Turner, and the Orsini guy fire him 3 years ago They're a lot smarter than I am You support, or fire your smarter leader employees (coaches), or you are DOOMED RGT is an ID YUT when it comes to foo ball See Ol Miss. What is going on in Dallas is the 5 -7 year sine wave for major sport coaches Same thing with the Plowboys.
May the forth be with us.

PlanoStang,
Please step back and take a deep breath. Ask yourself, "could I possibly be wrong about calling Rebel a troll?"
I listen to Cowlishaw and Mosley everyday. Cowlishaw is always very optimistic about SMU and mentioned that he would be on the Hilltop today several times this week. Tim's column was spot on. June absolutely has put SMU in a [deleted] situation.

wut? Cowlishaw was singing June's praises right up until he quit a week ago. He was also poo pooing SMU ever having a shot at being worth a damn the other day on the radio with Matt Mosley. He is no friend of SMU and clearly doesnt know anything about the program other than what other people tell him.
