People always say we can't take Peruna to road games because of a live mascot rule, but then A&M's little dog was at Ford yesterday?
Certainly, we didn't give them permission if we were in a position to deny them, right?
If there is such a rule, A&M should have been penalized somehow.

I guess I'm still trying to figure out what was so heroic about it...? He barely made contact with Der'rick who was moving out of the way to begin with... its not like he dove in front of a bullet.... he didn't pull the dog out of a burning building....
With that said... get your dog off the field and stay out of the way. Glad I didn't go to this game so I didn't have to hear/see any of these aggy freaks and whack jobs.
Leave it to aggy to find an excuse to blow themselves.

What a dangerous precedent.
I still don't understand how that dog was allowed in Ford!?!?!?!?!?!?

I agree. I first thought the aggie protected our guy from running into the wall. thought is was a class act. then told it was the dog he was protecting but either way I'm OK with this. They knew to keep Reveille from Pernuna who kicked and killed the Fordham Ram.

Are you saying that you don't sacrifice an unblemished Points burger on the Peruna alter in the southern end zone before each home game?

Their guy saves a stupid dog and endangers our player; our guy endangers himself and saves one of their players: http://www.chron.com/sports/aggies/article/Aggies-appreciate-SMU-player-s-kind-act-2160221.phpWho really is the hero? It really isn't a big deal - slow news day attracts feel good pet stories. Just glad no one got hurt, including their dog.

Can't help but think of the old pic of UGA trying to bite an Auburn player. If Aggy hada real mascot the dog could protect himself.

I'll take our man McJunkin over those corps guys any day. McJunkin has his priorities in the right order.

Reveille is a [deleted] rather than a dog. http://aggietraditions.tamu.edu/symbols/reveille.htmlThere used to be jokes that the mascot was the only female on campus in College Station.
