That's BS
He's averaging over 100 yards a game, that's not BS at all

Lol. You baffle me. You are 100% positive on everything June Jones/SMU football, then you disagree with a statement that actually has some facts to back it up.

I think he's trying to say that ES was great all along, meaning before teaming up with Peyton Manning. He's saying ES is good because of his own skills not because of Peytons.

I don't disagree with PB necessarily but a good QB does make a difference in how well a receiver performs.... so its really nothing to argue over...

Playing with arguably the greatest QB in NFL history would help any receiver's performance. I think we can all agree ES couldn't be in a better situation, and he's playing great.

Yes, thank you. That's exactly my point. Having Peyton Manning as your QB is a great thing. But ES has to catch the ball and did so prior to joining the Broncos. Peyton did not make him into one of the best receivers in football. He already was.

Probably a little bit of both. The offense they run would help any receiver.

Okay, that's more you're style. But no way was ES one of the best receivers in football with Pittsburgh - wasn't even best on his team.

I understand your point. But the player Emmanuel Sanders is the exact same player today that he was twelve months ago. The fact is he's being utilized more.

Manning has always made the players around him better, no question about that. You think Pierre Garcon gets a big contract with the Redskins without Manning? Nope. But that being said, Manning also isn't going to go to a guy he doesn't believe in. It's a two-way street, and I think it's obvious they work together well.

I hear you. But I really believe if you go look at ES's numbers in his four seasons at Pittsburg, you'd see that all Denver is doing is using him more. He's not got higher yards per catch or any statistically significant difference between then and now but a higher volume of balls thrown his way.

EDIT
Ok, I just checked. He's averaging less than one more yard per catch this year than his average over the last four years at Pittsburg (13.4 vs. 12.7). And, if the number of passes thrown his way keeps up, by the end of this one season he'll roughly equal the number thrown to him in those four years as a Steeler.

Same guy. Just more balls thrown his way.

It depends on a team's offensive scheme and the QB. Receivers that play for a Peyton Manning quarterback can make all pro because of Peyton. If ES continues his pace he will probably make the Pro Bowl.
It will be interesting to see what happens to his production when Wes Welker returns from his suspension
