The Big Ten will gladly pick up SMU and UH for that Texas market share and then the SEC will have no choice but to bring Tulane back in, but let's not forget about the PAC 12, oh know because they are going to raise their hoops profile by snatching up UCONN.
In order to make room for SMU and Houston, the Big Ten will be kicking out Michigan and Penn St.

Then again, why USF and not SMU? We actually have history and old rivalries with half the schools. Cincy only has WVU as a rival, ECU is in the middle of nowhere. UCF seems like smartest choice if they want to add a FL school.

ACC wants a Texas foot print, so they decided to add the purple and white team with Christian in the middle of the school name, but due to a computer error they accidentally sent a letter to ACU instead of TCU. The Pac12 asked Rice and Houston if they would combine to be one school, to be a more attractive addition to the conference. Iowa State keeps sending letters to the Big10 asking to join, but the head of the Iowa Postal Service is an Iowa alumni, so they keep getting lost in the mail. K State keeps doing the same thing to Kansas. UT keeps asking other conferences if it can join them, not to join, but just to stroke its ego with invites.

Really they should probably go ahead and replace Ohio State with Tulsa, so SMU and UH have a travel mate. Rick Hart get Delaney on the phone. Done deal.

Big 10 messed up their last media contract with a typo, so now the checks go to Ohio University instead of Ohio State. The buckeyes are not happy about it.

If Big XII expands they would take only two. No reason to dilute the pie four additional ways when two gets you a conference championship...but even those two would dilute Big XII brand and accelerate Pac-12 defections IMO

OP should delete the link. That blog doesn't deserve the traffic for that half-baked theory

I'll prob go ahead and leave it. If we deleted everything half baked on here there'd be like 6 posts on the whole forum. Just threw it out there for you guys to read.

haha, but wouldn't ECU make a better addition to Big XII then UConn? I was under the impression that UC has been wanting into the ACC, but athlete grades/graduation rates have kept them out.

Seems far-fetched but who would have thought the Big Ten would want Maryland and Rutgers.
