hey knucklehead- from your grammar etc it is obvious that you didn't graduate from SMU. FYI- Miami (Oh.) is located in Oxford, Ohio. Although they are on a down cycle in fball at the moment they have some pretty good history. A few former coaches you may know- Paul Brown, Woody Hayes, Bo Schembechler, Johnny Pont, Ara P.. IIRC the Pittsburgh Steelers qb- Ben Rothlisberger played there as well.

Of the few games I have gone to over the years, even when SMU was good a few years back the stands were still empty and the wannabes on this site were still crying and moaning (no different today). If I were coach or player I wouldn't want to play for all you $ss clowns! As you continue to bore everyone with this constant toxic posting remember that every team SMU haS lost to has a 500 record or better excerpt for North Texas. And even more compelling is four of the seven teams are or have been in the top 10 in the nation and two are close to making top 25. Maybe, just maybe the youth of this team, [deleted] poor coaching along with ridiculous strength of scheduling SMU has played should be considered. Watching the Mac team play I know SMU destroy kent or a Miami of Ohio (were the heck is that).
Bash all you wasn't as I am more amused at the lack of knowledge of all you fair weather fans. SMU will just fine and I will continue to support all my Texas teams including SMU!

Is this a clever dig against the team? We got destroyed by Cincinnati 41-3 whereas Miami of Ohio played them competitively losing 24-31 matching them on total yards.

Maybe you should come to more games instead of spending time whining on a message board.

Here we go again with the "SMU is only bad this year because we've been playing world class opponents and defenses" argument...

It's funny how that argument only seems to come from people that are close to team.

Only thing shocking about this is that there are other teams even remotely as bad as we are

We'll also probably hear something about a Karma Cafe and how these kids would somehow be better athletes and stop being so slow if we just had the Green Bay Packers coaching staff.

Or about SMU being the worst school ever and how these kids would somehow be better athletes and stop being so slow if the stands were filled every game.

The positives is that with a good staff in place who is willing to work, the possibility of a quick turnaround is there compared to years ago where the mantra was it would take 4-5 years. Texas is full of d-1 type players and the opportunity to play early is there. Now if the fan base would quit feeling sorry for itself and everyone pitch in to make a positive change.....after all, that is what football is about...overcoming adversity and fighting through pain as an individual and team to achieve your best.
