Has any team in the history of the world gotten more credit for losing a game than TCU?

But is FSU the better team or is TCU?

I see no problem with it at all. TCU dominated Baylor nearly the entire game before the Bears came back. I still think TCU is better than Baylor, and definitely FSU. The Noles have been less than impressive all season long against lesser competition (imo).

It'll all work out in the end though. No way TCU stays #3 if FSU wins. I wouldn't be shocked to see TCU slip to #5 too if Baylor records an impressive win.

Ohio State's QB injury wasn't considered in this batch of rankings.

Kansas dominated TCU for most of the game too. Is Kansas a better team than TCU?

Briles was warned this would likely happened if Baylor lost a single game because of their schedule-I really have little sympathy for teams that schedule powder-puffs when they claim to be national contenders. I think its a fantastic development for college football. Warning to all schools-improve your schedule

Are they going to let the head-to-head playoff matchups determine the champion at the end of the season, or have a re-vote based on who "looked" better?

TCU was screwed out of that Baylor game. Voters know it.
They beat a good Minnesota team, Baylor beat Buffalo.
TCU is still kicking butt and
Baylor blew any chance vs Tech.

I agree, PonyFan37, 4 teams has created all kinds of excitement and must win games.

Yeah I was thinking today how scheduling SMU might disqualify both Baylor and TCU-now that would be funny. June's revenge

In most years, in the end, things seem to work themselves out. This upcoming week should be good. And yes, I anticipate 8 teams by next year. This year has been too good.

You can't tell me that if we still had the top two playoff format that Fla State would be undefeated and left out of the championship. Stupidity.

The rationalization for having TCU ahead of Baylor to this point has been strength of schedule. TCU played their more difficult games earlier and Baylor is finishing them now. That should all equal out after this weekend. Now the decision comes down to is TCU's win vs. Minn that much better than Baylor's win vs. Buffalo. Is that enough to overcome the head to head?

I think the committee will chicken out in the end, ignore the question and put in a one loss (Bad Loss) OSU. They are a giant brand name and their inclusion would maximize profits. Keeping the Big Ten out would create chaos.

Except SMU probably brought down TCu and Baylor's sos this year on most computer rankings more than the FCS teams did.
