Nobody denies Mason and the entire coaching staff are responsible for what has happened to this program. Still, he does deserves our appreciation for taking over a "no win situation".
My question is, why would he publicly state he is committing career suicide. Maybe it's true, maybe he thinks it will win him some sympathy but I thought it was a stupid comment to make

Play their hearts out for CM? They met Chad for all of 5 minutes. He's not on the sideline, he's not even in the football offices yet. At this point the players feel no connection to Morris or his staff. Would be nice to win the game and make it 'appear' that this was the first win of the Morris regime, but in reality this game means little to nothing in the overall scheme of things.
