Merry Christmas to all. 2014 has truly been a wild ride for the 1500. We've seen the highest highs (Bball in the spring) and the lowest lows (football in the fall) in SMU athletics since 1987. But we're ending on a high note with a win over Michigan and the hiring of Chad. I'm optimistic for 2015!!!!!

Merry Christmas to y'all.
Ya know last year one of my younger sisters who goes to some SMU games lost a baby but this year, the other day, she had a baby and we have been busy with all that! Her baby has SMU on both sides so she can't help being born a Mustang!
Another thing I found interesting is that of the only 8 babies born in that hospital that day 2 come from Olympian stock! My niece was born 37 minutes before the boy who has an Olympian daddy, a multiple medalist. My sports mind dreams that maybe two future Olympians were born so close together on that day at that hospital. So COOL....
Oh and I'm only speaking in American Indian languages to my niece for a while.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

And a quick question for all..being that I am finally back in Dallas for a few days (first time since 2010). Is there any way to get in the stadium...want to walk my two boys around. Going to the MBB game on the 31st but would love for them to see where the renaissance begins in 2015! Have a safe and happy holiday season.
