That's Group of 5, not Gang of 5. We're trying to figure out wtf gang of 5 means from the article.
Well, at BU we know one of the 5 cannot be The University of Houston. Art Briles would never play one of the High Schools where he was a prior Head Coach and that has carried over to his current scheduling philosophy...
I lol'd

I lol'd[/quote] Man that was funny and I did not mean it to be. Some of the funniest things are by accident. What I was saying was Art Briles coached at Sundown, and Sweetwater as an assistant and then at Hamlin, Georgetown and Stephenville as Head Coach and he would not schedule any HS in non-district that he had coached at earlier. He then became the HC at UH and he will not schedule UH for the same reasons he did in HC. I guess it is funnier the way I said it the first time.

The Baylor game are going to be awesome in a couple of years when we can hang with them.

Because Briles would rather play that powerhouse Incarnate Word, you know the team that our local HS team tied when worked out/scrimmaged them and then was handled easily by Division III Trinity when they had joint session. Ridiculous program like Baylor scheduled them, there are other wins they could buy against teams that at least know what a football is.

My mom went to college in SA. From her discussions about the experience, I thought that Incarnate Word was an all-girl school.

I'm surprised they even play football. That has Title IX implications written all over it

My neice starts at UIW next week. Per her, the admin told potential students that the powers that be decided to pursue FCS/D1 status "because they thought it would be nice for the students and alumni to see UIW scores on the bottom screen crawl"

A multi million dollar investment as well as countless hours just so they can see some scores on ESPN whenever they play an FBS team...solid decision making.

Houston Baptist also recently created an FCS football team.
