I was there for about half of it. Decent turnout with most being students. I was in line for free In-N-Out and the group of students behind me were talking about getting points for the mob. I overheard one girl say she was coming to all of the football games so she could go to the basketball games. She said "I can't wait to go to a game at Moody!" They were trying to figure out the check in app so I guess they got credit for attending the practice tonight.

As for the few series I saw, Davis looked great. He was putting the ball on target. He looks very confident and in control. If the line gives him any time he has a ton of weapons with Sutton, Thomas, Grisham and Castille. Also, West is crazy fast.

Will the obsession of these kids with basketball end when SMU Football is back in the AP poll? This is Texas, just sayin...

They found a way to get students to attend anything to do with a team that went 1-11 last season and has few good seasons over the last 25+. Applaud the kids for getting out there and stop being a whiny [deleted].

Yep, this was a scrimmage and students showed up. That's a big sign.

One more thing, why in the world was Sutton redshirted last season? I hope it was an injury because I don't know how you could possible think we had four or five better options at WR on last year's roster?? As it turns out, I'm glad he was redshirted but if healthy, it's just another reason to question the JJ staff.

Scrimmage was fun. In - n - out truck looked like a hit for the undergrads. I thought it was a decent turnout of all types of students, greeks, freshman, etc.

On a side note, marketing needs to make sure students are aware of the food trucks on the grassy knoll. Make sure students know they can come off the boulevard after drinking, get some good food, log in their mob attendance points, and then watch our competitive product out on the field.

I think it was back related?

Sutton started out working in the secondary last year, then was moved to WR and then he got hurt.
