north Texas state obsession with SMU

For them SMU is the dream but UNT is the reality.

They are irrelevant. Honestly having a 10 year series with them is beyond stupid. So many better options for non-conference matchups. The game does absolutely nothing for us.

A very good friend of mine from church is a NT guy. He and his wife will be our guests for tailgate on the boulevard. He has invited more NT people to join us and we welcome them.

Be nice, polite, generous, friendly (hugs to all) and do one simple thing.

Pound their necks down into their chest with an old fashion whipping.

Then return to the Boulevard for a beer.

we are playing NTSU because many are afraid to play SMU's traditional rivalries and we only average 15,000 in games against AAC teams and the light weights you want us to schedule so you can attend the Toilet Bowl. Get used to it.

Who is afraid of playing traditional rivals? We are playing two of the top 5 teams in the nation that are both former SWC schools. We have an away game against national power Michigan. I just don't think a series with UNT does anything for SMU in the slightest.
