JMU is a good program. They like Delaware, get a lot of FBS players who want to play rather than sit out a year while transferring. It is growing in size and may be passed UVA in student population size. With Liberty, JMU, Richmond, and William & Mary, the FCS contingent in Virginia is pretty strong (albeit VMI is trailing behind the pack because they require 4 year committments and of course you have to complete the "rat" year.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

they are within a thousand of each other, each roughly the size of UTRGV f/k/a UTPA, around 20,000. VCU is the largest in the state at 31,000.

Not sure that VCU is larger than Virginia Tech. UVA has more students than JMU; however, JMU has more undergraduate students than UVA. UVA only has about 16k undergrads v. well over 18k at JMU.

They are about the same.. And technically I guess neither are the largest.. Counting 'all' students, Liberty has 56,000
