Not really considering the exemption is only for the military and for flag patches on uniforms, but America.

The flag should be advancing not retreating.

For soldiers, yes.

Those of you who love this Go America stuff are going to love Saturday night because there is going to be a ton of it.

If you want to get technical the flag is forbidden on an athletic uniform but no one really follows the Flag Code.

Exactly.

Hey, I'm cool with this. I realize it's the way things are.

Not trying to ruffle any feathers. I'm just more of a moment of silence/black armband type for somber days like 9/11, November 22, December 7, etc. and for Veteran's Day/Memorial Day.

And I will cry when the bagpipes play "Amazing Grace" tomorrow night.

Go Ponies!

SMU's helmet for tomorrow's North Texas game.

FOX 4 NEWS @FOX4
.@SMU_Football will wear blue helmets w/American flag Mustang in remembrance of 9/11 vs. UNT on Sat.

The more media outlets this is publicized on the better.

Side note, everyone should go watch the ESPN 30 for 30 about W's first pitch in the World Series after 911. Brings out a pile of raw emotion (at least for me), so be warned.

Very well done.
