You are embarrassment to journalism-writing a petty little book to sell to homer SMU fans telling them exactly what they wanted to hear, completely divorced from reality and 25 years away from critical analysis. You're worse than Bill Clements who at least understood that the fraud was over and realized that the multi-decade old payroll needed to be divulged. Suggesting to the SMU community that SMU should have covered up yet again is irresponsible nonsense

It was a lot easier to pay in the 20s. The quarter handshake was easier to pass undetected than the $100 handshake today.
