Stanford losing opens the door a bit. But right now it is Ohio State, Clemson, SEC, and ND. ND will have to lose again for the Big 12 or Pac 12 to get a bid.

Only thing is it was not a flop. I have been in the same position before. The player was hurt and was trying to play through it. His knee or ankle was injured, he was limping and had a play gone off and a pass been thrown in his area it was a TD. The other player wisely told him to go down. You not only stop the play but you save a time out which was the other option.

Trust me, I had the wind knocked out of me once and got up and tried to be a hero and continue. Could not breath and could not even see. Play came right at me and a TD was scored. Explaining to the coach how I bravely fought through the pain only got my butt chewed out for not dropping to the ground and letting them sub me out.

Funny how they didn't report back that he really needed to come out. Herbie was really playing up the idea that he was faking it. He's even faking getting attention on sideline. Maybe he realized something was awry at that point.

There is a lot of flopping and faking going on all the time with the hurry up offenses in place. I just personally do not think this was one from my perspective.
